2023, Is Abia State Ready?

THE LOUD VOICE OF AFENIFERE IN ABIA STATE 2023 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION

Unity can only exist where there is justice. The absence of justice in a society brings about "desolation" according to Abraham Lincoln.

The root cause of Nigeria's problems today is not corruption as being speculated, but injustice. "A lier needs to tell more lies many times to cover one lie told". The introduction of injustice by few unpatriotic Nigerians at the federal level over the years is the bane of Nigeria's calamaties, and will continue if it is not stopped. The introduction of injustice in a system opens doors of doom to such system and society. Lucky Dube, the music legend said "it takes a thousand men to build a country but takes one stupid fool to pull it down". Nigeria has lost her glory and respect in the international community, became poverty capital of the world, became one of the most dangerous countries to live in and lost her dignity in Africa just as currencies of countries like Ethiopia are now higher than our NAIRA, because one man or few introduced injustice.

"Injustice is the opposite of justice, war is the opposite of peace and disunity is the opposite of unity". There will not be progress in the absence of peace, the state of peace can only be possible when the people are united and unity comes where there is JUSTICE AND EQUAL RIGHT.

Abia state founding fathers enshrined JUSTICE AND EQUITY in the environment by the maintenance of zoning GOVERNORSHIP SLOTS between the three (3) senatorial districts of Abia state. This they did via mutual understanding that exist amongst the highly respected stakeholders.  

The rotation of Abia state Governorship seat having gone round is expected to return to Abia North and OHAFIA IN PARTICULAR. The Governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM), Kalu Ijoma Ukeh who has been nicknamed "ABIA MESSIAH" hails from Ohafia, Abia North will not only rescue but will unite the entire Abia.

The move to thread the pathway of those who caused the woes of Nigeria by few individuals in Abia state is a move to be resisted by all well meaning Abia state indigenes and residents. "The only thing it takes for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing".

AFENIFERE a Yoruba social cultural group had begun the campaign for a Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction in 2019 after the general election. Not minding that one of their sons is contesting for the exalted position, AFENIFERE has maintained it's position in supporting the most popular Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi who is of Igbo extraction. This move and support for justice has proved that Yoruba are good people and and there goodwill should be emulated by all Abians especially in supporting Kalu Ijoma Ukeh from Ohafia, Abia North senatorial districts to become the next governor of Abia state in 2023.

The holy book says "do to others as you wish them to do to you". "A good leader is one who left a system better than he meet it, not one who creates enemies among brothers". It is time for Abians home and abroad to come together to promote what binds us together and shun those which divide us. The continued unity of Abia can only be achieved through giving maximum support to Kalu Ijoma Ukeh, National Rescue Movement ( NRM) Governorship Candidate come 2023. A good son of Ohafia, Abia Messaih, tested and trusted.
