OHAFIA YOUTHS DRUM SUPPORTS FOR IJOMAH KALU'S GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATURE

The youths of Ohafia drum supports for the governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement, Chief Kalu Ijomah in the forthcoming gubernatorial election. 

After a very lengthy discussion with the candidates of NRM, Chief Kalu Ijomah took a short trip to Ohafia to visit some community leaders who have been showing support to his political race. 

During this brief visit, Chief Kalu Ijomah in his speech appraised the youths for being steadfast in their resolve to support his political ambitions. He encouraged them to hold on to their convictions and to get involved in the political evangelism until the mandate is delivered. 

Some of the youths include Ameakpu youths and Elu Ohafia youths. 

The Youth Leader confirmed to news men that the entire youths of Ameakpu will print their thumbs on ballot papers for Chief Kalu when the time comes. He said that Chief Kalu has been a blessing to the community long before he declared his intention to run the governorship race in Abia State.

"Chief Kalu Ijomah has been a big blessing to us in Ameakpu, and this is the only opportunity we have to say 'thank you' to him by voting for him. We are very sure that a vote for Ijomah Kalu is a vote for continuous support not just to the youths of Ameakpu, but to the youths of Abia State."

The House of Assembly Candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM), Mr. Ahamefula Udonsi Nkaka stated emphatically that it is the turn of Abia North to hold the governorship office since it has been based on zoning. 

"The governorship position started from Abia North, then moved to Abia Central and then to Abia South. This means, by all standards, according to the Abia Chartered of Equity that the governorship position should return to Abia North. The most preferred governorship candidate is from Abia North. He is also the most competent."
