Choose not to live this life of a selfish being and also realize that you could give a hand to all, Living a trade mark, wiping tears and replace with a smile, living each day with the consciousness that i meant something to someone and not just my family members and friends.
To me, success isn't about FAME! But its "having all you need and still know that they don't totally belong to you" but you have them so as to be a blessing to others who don't have as much as you do. "God blesses us so we can bless others". Don't be known as a celebrity but a "HERO" people looks up-to as an example. Make a decision to make yourself available for those who need you, if not in person then in words, if not in gifts then in hugs, if not in Smile then in Pecks.
Am always excited when friends call me up for some words of encouragement or advise. I spoke to a good friend on her birthday and the first thing she said was "Oyin please Pray for me"... and I'm glad i did. Truth is, i need these things myself but in what i tell others i always find a word for myself too. So in helping others i help myself and am glad to do such at all times but one of the things that gladdens my heart more is knowing that am not just restricted to friends around me but to everyone i make contact with, i ensure i leave them with just a word.
What mark are you leaving behind? What would you be known for? What do you call success? Is your life all for yourself?
Funny enough, so many of us know this but we are just not ready to accept.
I end with this story:
My historical Role Model, my mummy, Margaret Olajumoke Adebo (MOA) inspired me as she lived her life for all around her and even little children and how till date a little girl at age 5 refers to me as "Mummy Church". Story has it that my mum would not go to church without something for the children (cabin, gala, drinks) so every Sunday, this girl is always expecting something from "mummy church". So when she sees me and calls me by the name i just ensure i give her something as her "Mummy Church" would do, so i don't go to that area without a gift for the girl.
YES! Her demise changed all about me and my earlier stated dreams, the me you see now was not the me of last year and am glad to be who i am with no regrets. She's left her foot prints and am gladly walking in them, she left this world with a mark to know she was here!!
What are you leaving behind? Your Cars, your houses, your certificates? All these are also necessary but only on these planet earth!
Make a decision to see others just as you see yourself, this is called LOVE. The bible says love is the greatest of all Jam2:8,1pet1:22,John 13:34,Rom 13:8-10".
