As we merry on this auspicious moment when the spirit of 'Sallah' has taken over the air, let's bring these heart-trembling factors 2d fore of our minds:
:: We cannot deny the fact that so many terrible things has happened in our communities, our states, countries and our world - and quite a number are happening and worst things will continue to happen if we don't take our stand as individuals to bring about positive change; and make our world conducive enough for our unborn generations to breath peace and enjoy the sweetness of humanity.
:: We have lost people to bomb explosions, incredible jungle justice, kidnapping, accident caused by reckless driving/ drunk drivers/ bad roads/ mechanical faults, riots, heartlessness, rituals, greed and d unruly behaviours of fellow humans.
These dead people may hold in their hearts, keys to significant change; but they've been cut short of their purpose in life. They were our mothers, sisters, aunty, cousins nieces, wives, fathers, brothers, uncles, nephews, husbands and or relatives. Is it ideal if we keep forcing death upon people without letting them fulfil their purpose of existence?
:: Have u asked yourself; 'what can I do to better the world? We owe ourselves the 'change' that we seek. If the government we trust are failing us, shouldn't we trust ourselves to start to make things right?
We aspire to create wealth and be celebrated; but we have forgotten that the best way to create wealth is to create a positive and lasting impression in the hearts of our next-door neighbours.
