Valentine's Day Mess

GET INSPIRED:

(Daily Inspirational Post "DIP")

When you have the wrong idea about something, that thing never works out right. It's less than 24hrs after the red coloured celebration and quite a number of relationships plunged into the doghouse. A high number of infidelity cases are put to record and still counting. Why allow one day mistake ruin the good future of many days? This is one question we don't ask ourselves before jumping into the sea of pleasurable mistakes. Now the rain is gone and reality stares like the stars.

Candies, chocolates and flowers are over. You failed to hit the proper heart-shaped mark. Now you are cursing yourself and swimming in regrets. You danced on the alter of another man's god, you call that fun? or perhaps celebration of love. The good news is... you can pull yourself out from that pool if you set the proper bricks.

Try these simple ideas...
√ Start with an earnest apology!
× Don't try to redo Valentine's day - forget the gifts, they will only remind them of your screwup.
√ Arrange a special treat!
√ Prepare for rejection - have a backup/ makeup plan!
× Avoid conversations that refers to Valentine's day - don't reopen an already healed wound.

Valentine’s Day may be a little corny. But at it's core, it celebrates love and gives us the opportunity to show our partners just how much we appreciate them. To make up for a bad Valentine's Day, all you need is a solid recovery plan and he/ she will be swooning. Just don’t mess up again next year — then you’re on your own.
