THE MAGIC WITH PERSISTENCE

We have thoughtfully and professionally written a detailed proposal. We have formed a crew of fantastic team-players. Our feasibility studies birth affirmative results with 110% grade-point. The idea is breath-taken and the budget is ready. The project has been set on the go but the finance is missing.

The mind is chocked with finding ways to execute the task in hand because proposed sponsors are not responding positively. Our “well written proposal” occupies a seat at the corner of our projected sponsor’s fancy table.

Now our worries are huge! We are confused. Things no longer seem to work. We want to give up, our eyes can’t see through the walls before us and we’re already proposing to turnaround. To take the cowardice act and run when we should fight our way through.

I certainly understand that those times are not always with warmth or reasons to smile. I understand that those times replace our good feelings with horrible sad feelings, creating an imbalance in our emotional well being.

But based on testimonies and research, people who stood through those times, are people who developed the skill to persevere. They chose never to give up; they insisted to win. These are great people – not less than success oriented. They are the kind people I call us to be.

The magic with persistence will always be visible if we persevere. All you need is the decision to win. Don’t stop making those phone calls; don’t get tired of sending emails. Keep pushing, keep requesting for appointment dates. Keep visiting that office and keep finding and providing ways to break or bend their management rules to suit your purpose. Creative people find loopholes and fills them. For every opportunity you have, show reasons people/ companies should invest in your project. Soon, they will understand that your project is just what they need to climb to a certain height that would set them above their counterparts.
